Tripti: Hi! We’ve always been captivated by the allure of England’s rich history and picturesque landscapes. When we discovered Shakespeare Coaches’ three-day tour, combining visits to Oxford, Warwick Castle, and the Cotswolds, we knew it was the perfect opportunity to immerse ourselves in the essence of England.
Jeevan: Yes! The chance to explore iconic landmarks like Oxford and Warwick Castle, coupled with the tranquility of the Cotswolds and the charm of Stratford-upon-Avon, was an irresistible combination for us. Its literally a world away for us coming from the Gujarat, India and we everything about English history.
Interviewer: That sounds like an incredible journey! Can you share some highlights from your first day exploring Oxford and Warwick Castle?
Tripti: Oxford was simply breathtaking. The walking tour from Weston Library allowed us to delve into the city’s fascinating history and architecture. As we strolled through the historic streets, we were awestruck by the grandeur of the Bodleian Library and the iconic Radcliffe Camera. Learning about the prestigious Oxford University and its centuries-old traditions was truly fascinating.
Jeevan: And Warwick Castle was equally impressive. Stepping into the imposing fortress felt like stepping back in time. We were enthralled by the medieval grandeur of the castle and its well-preserved interiors. Exploring the ramparts, towers, and dungeons, we couldn’t help but marvel at the stories of knights, kings, and battles that echoed through its walls.
Interviewer: It sounds like you had an enriching experience! How would you describe your overall impression of Oxford and Warwick Castle?
Tripti: Oxford and Warwick Castle left an indelible mark on us. The rich history and architectural splendor of these iconic sites were truly awe-inspiring. We were fascinated by the stories of scholars and nobles that unfolded before us, and we left with a newfound appreciation for England’s cultural heritage.
Jeevan: Absolutely! And the Cotswolds were the perfect contrast to the grandeur of Oxford and Warwick Castle. The idyllic countryside, with its rolling hills and charming villages, was like something out of a fairytale. We were mesmerized by the timeless beauty of the region and the warmth of its people.

Tripti: Stratford-upon-Avon was a highlight of our trip. Walking in the footsteps of William Shakespeare, we were transported to another era. The quaint streets, Tudor-style buildings, and the tranquil River Avon created a magical atmosphere that was truly enchanting.
Jeevan: And the overnight stay in the bespoke holiday cottage was the perfect way to immerse ourselves in the charm of the town. It felt like a home away from home, and we enjoyed every moment of our time there.
